The winter solstice is approaching, and with it the return of light.
Celebrated for hundreds of years, winter brings comfort and renewal.

The "Solstice d'hiver" (winter solstice) candles celebrate this precious period with you.
With some scents of Wassail, notably  its spices of cinnamon and cloves. But also the fruity scent of orange, an element very present in our homes during this period, and the comforting sweetness of vanilla.
They are decorated with star anise, sprigs of rosemary, dried flowers, pink pepper and pieces of dried orange.

Wassail, of Nordic origin, is the name given to a drink but also to a ceremony taking place at the winter solstice. In the past, people drank hot cider, accompanied by various spices, and blessed the apple trees for a good harvest the following year.
Cinnamon, used in spiritual rituals, is known for its purifying properties and for bringing prosperity, success and love.
Orange is closely linked to the sun and is used in winter solstice rituals to celebrate the sun's return. Combined with cloves, it is called the "Amber Apple" and repels disease, pests and evil spirits from the home.
